• Accuracy: JIS 1 The accuracy of the scale is specified as JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) 1. The maximum deviation of +-0.3 mm per 1000 mm corresponds approximately to the European standard EC Standard 1 (max. +-0.2 mm per 1000 mm). Most folding rules comply with EC Standard 3 (max. +-1.0 mm per 1000 mm deviation), and these have also been used to build custom-fit furniture for decades. The accuracy of these rulers is therefore more than sufficient for carpentry work.
