Straight cutter without a base cutting edge are ideal for routing grooves, rebates, and joints in wood, plastic, or other materials. They enable precise and clean cuts for joints, recesses, or decorative profiles. All of the straight bits available here are designed for 8mm collets and can therefore be used in both trim routers and larger routers. All straight cutters have two cutting edges (Z2) and no base cutting edge. Therefore, they are not suitable for plunging into the material.
