Measuring tools

Precise measuring instruments are the most important tool in furniture making.
The Japanese manufacturer Shinwa offers good measuring tools in a minimalist design: carpenter's squares, bevels, compasses, and rulers with sufficient precision for woodworking. Don't expect finely crafted handheld tools from these, but the price-performance ratio is very good.
